In the song "It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas" there's a line which I totally identify with:
And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again.
Yeah.
I told you the weather fairy is out to get me. I have another week of break with no kids (hear the angels singing?).
Today is the first day the kids are back to school, officially.
We got 7 inches of snow last night (or something... can't find an official number).
School's cancelled.
Great.
Great...so I our car IS fixed today...it's not going to be fun traveling home. I snowed a lot here in Moses Lake too. I'm just ready to be home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe highways look clear-ish on the wsdot site.
ReplyDeleteIt was 8.5 inches and still snowing this morning by my own measurement. It's not snowing anymore but it is a freezing fog instead. Fun!
See you LAATTTEEERRRR today?
Be careful and safe. Take it slow!
Oddly, they never have snow days here. Even when I was a kid growing up in MT, in all the 13 years I attended Gardiner Schools, we only closed school twice due to weather. So while I may eventually get more snow than you ( I think you may still be ahead at this point!), my kids do not get snow days! I'm not trying to rub it in, I do sympathize! REALLY!
